25 November 2023 - Scottish and West of Sctland Cat club shows

Our most local show this time, just a short trip to a double show for a very busy day. I took three cats, who all had very good days, but the family superstar today was
- GrPr Dushenka Blue Oberon who won Best Section 4 Neuter in the Scottish show and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit in the West of Scotland, reaching the final three at overall best!
- Dushenka Lahariel had a great day, winning Best of Breed in both shows, against good competition
- Dushenka Honey-Belle, finally making her show debut, won the Challenge certificate in both shows
- UK & IGr Ch Dushenka Viola Heartsease delighted me by winning her third Olympian certificate in a good class, and was very proud of all her descendents today, including her son Harry, granndaughters Honey-Belle and Honey-Blossom and her great-grandson Lukas...
- Gr Ch Dushenka Delukiel who won his Imperial certificate in both shows
- Ch & Premier Dushenka Norma-Jean won both Premier certificates and her new title
- Gr Pr Dushenka Xoriana-Agata won her second Imperial certificate
- Gr Pr Dushenka Zelazny won his first Imperial certificate
- Pr Dushenka Honey-Blossom won her second Grand certificate
- IGrPr Dushenka Zelenka placed 3rd in a strong Olympian class, and won her 'dream class' heat too
Congratulations to our family connections Rocky, Charlie, Harald and Teddy, who all won certificates too.

21 October 2023 - The Supreme Show

Today was the GCCF's own show, the Supreme Show, another long-distance trip, and great fun it was too! I just took two cats, and we won what we came for:
- UK & IGr Ch Dushenka Viola Heartsease won her second UK certificate and new title, and was best female adult too, just being beaten for best of breed by her own great-grandson
- Gr Ch Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka won his third Imperial certificate

7 October 2023 - Russian Blue Breeders Association (RBBA) show

This was another long trip for us, but always worth it to attend this specialist breed show - even better when you do well of course! Our superstar today was
- IGrPr Dushenka Zelenka who won the Olympian certificate, Best Female Russian Blue neuter and Best in Show Russian Blue Neuter!
- Dushenka Lahariel had another fantastic day, winning three 1sts, and Best Male Russian Blue Kitten
- IGr Ch Dushenka Viola Heartsease won her Olympian certificate, and was very proud of both her sons today
- Gr Ch Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka won his Imperial certificate

We also did well in the photo-competition, with a photo of my delicious D litter winning best photo!

16 September 2023 - Edinburgh show

Not such an early start today, for one of our shows in Scotland, and another great day again!
- Dushenka Lahariel had a fantastic day, winning 1st in all his classes, Best of Breed, and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten! He was happy as happy can be all day long, and loved meeting loads of new people :)
- Grand Champion Dushenka Delukiel won his Grand certificate and his new title
- Gr Pr Dushenka Blue Oberon won his fourth Imperial certificate
- Gr Ch Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka won his Imperial certificate
- Gr Pr Dushenka Xoriana-Agata won her first Imperial certificate
It was lovely to see descendents of my cats do well too, especially Harald, Rocky, Charlie and Rose who all won certificates on the day too.

26 August 2023 - Teesside show

We had another fun day at the Teesside, with some great results too!
- Gr Pr Dushenka Blue Oberon won the Imperial certificate again, clever boy!
- Gr Ch Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka won the reserve Imperial the first time in that class
- Dushenka Lahariel made his show debut, winning two 1sts and a 2nd in his three classes, and enjoyed loads of cuddles all day long!

Huge congratulations again to Laura's Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar, who continues to live up to his name, at his first adult show he ended up winning Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit again!

12 August 2023 - Chester & North Wales show

We had a lovely day at the Chester show, even though this year it was held in Wigan! I just had the one cat with me, and he had a great day, as did Caryl and Laura's cats too!
- Grand Champion Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka won his third Grand certificate and new title - so proud of my velvet-pawed baby boy x
- IGr Pr Dushenka Zelenka won the reserve Olympian certificate in an amazing class of 11 beautiful females, and 1st in both her side classes too
- Gr Pr Dushenka Blue Oberon won his second Imperial certificate

Huge congratulations also to Laura's Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar, who totally lived up to his name today, at his last show as a kitten he ended up by winning Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit!

8 July 2023 - Scotia Cat Fanciers show

Congratulations to all the Dushenka cats who were winners at this show:
- Ch Dushenka Delukiel had a great day, winning his second Grand certificate, Best of Breed, and Best of Variety Section 4 Adult!
- Imperial Gr Pr Dushenka Vanda Blue-Orchid won her fifth Imperial certificate and her new title
- IGr Ch Dushenka Hollyhock won the reserve Olympian certificate
- Gr Pr Dushenka Blue Oberon won the Imperial certificate, his first time in this class
- Gr Pr Dushenka Zelazny won the reserve Imperial certificate
- Pr Dushenka Honey-Blossom won the Grand certificate, her first time in this class
- Ch Dushenka Norma-Jean won the Premier certificate on her debut as a neuter

17 June 2023 - Herts & Middx and Kensington shows

I was just along for the ride this weekend, but Laura and Caryl had seven cats entered between them, and enjoyed some great results too!
- Grand Premier Dushenka Blue Oberon won his Grand certificate in both shows to win his new title - congratulations to Obi and his proud human mum Caryl
- IGr Pr Dushenka Zelenka won Best of Breed neuter in both shows, and greatly enjoyed herself all day long
Laura's five babies all did so well too:
- Grand Champion Lapochka Black Velvet-Rose won the Grand and reserve Grand certificates, her new title, Best of Breed in both shows and Best in Show S4 in the Kensington show, and runner-up at Overall Best! Rose is the first of my beloved black boy Bowie's kittens to win a grand title too
- Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar, was Best of Breed in both shows, and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten in both shows too!
- Rose's baby siblings all had a great day too, just over 14 weeks old and the cutest little things - Lapochka Darkstar-Duchess won both Best of Breeds and 1st in every class entered, Darkstar-Duke won both his breed classes, and Diamond-Prince was happy to come 2nd to his large nephew Rocky!

27 May 2023 - Durham and Northern Counties shows

We had a great day at these shows, with a more modest five cats entered between me, Laura and Caryl, but there was nothing modest about their results! Between them our cats took home all possible Best of Breed awards and a full set of Best of Variety awards in one show too!
- Pr Dushenka Blue Oberon was a total superstar, winning two Grands, and in the Northern Counties show he was Best of Breed, Best Section 4 Neuter ... and Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit! Huge congratulations to Obi and his proud human mum Caryl
- my own boy Ch Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka had a great day too, winning the Grand and Best of Breed in both shows, and Best Section 4 Adult in the Northern Counties show too
- IGr Pr Dushenka Zelenka won Best of Breed in the Durham show, and placed well in a strong Olympian class as well
- Ch Lapochka Black Velvet-Rose won the Grand and reserve Grand certificates, and Best of Breed in both shows
- Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar, was Best of Breed in both shows, and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten in the Northern Counties show

29 April 2023 - Nor'East of Scotland Cat Club show

Another splendid turnout of Dushenka cats and family at the Nor'East club's Golden Jubilee show where we enjoyed our own very special Golden event:
- UK & Olympian Gold Imperial Grand Champion Dushenka Rafael won 1st in all his classes, Best of Breed, and his 15th - and qualifying - Olympian certificate for his Gold title! Rafa is the first-ever entire male Russian to achieve this title, and is, of course, grandson of the first-ever Gold titled Russian, UK & OGIGrPr Dushenka Zerachiel. Rafa has more than earned his retirement, but I must admit to feeling slightly sad that I won't be taking my beloved teddy-bear of a boy to any more shows in competition - he really enjoys his shows!
There were loads more great wins on the day for Rafa's descendents and close relatives too:
- his daughter Grand Premier Dushenka Xoriana-Agata won her qualifying Grand certificate for her latest title
- his daughter IGr Pr Dushenka Zelenka won the reserve Olympian
- his great-granddaughter IGr Ch Dushenka Hollyhock won her reserve Olympian
- his granddaughter, Ch Lapochka Black Velvet-Rose won her first Grand certificate, Best of Breed, Best of Variety Section 4 Adult, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit and third at overall Best in Show!
- his great-grandson Ch Dushenka Delukiel won the Grand certificate
- his great-grandson, Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar, had another great day winning 1st in all his classes, Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten
- his nephew Pr Dushenka Blue Oberon won the reserve Grand and Best of Breed neuter
- his great-nephew, Pr Makima Water Sapphire won his first Grand certificate
- his other great-nephew, Makima Celestite, won his second Premier certificate

8 April 2023 - Shorthair & All-Breed Cat Club of Scotland show

The first show in Scotland this year and I was delighted to see seven Dushenka cats and another four cats with a Dushenka parent doing so well on the day. My dear old Rafa did me proud again, as did his descendents:
- Uk & OS IGr Ch Dushenka Rafael won Best of Breed, both his side classes, Best of Variety Section 4 Adult, Best in Show Section 4 Exhibit, and reserve overall Best in Show!
- his daughter Gr Pr Dushenka Vanda Blue-Orchid won her fourth Imperial certificate, Best of Breed, both her side classes and Best of Variety Section 4 Neuter
- his son Grand Premier Dushenka Zelazny won his third Grand Premier certificate and title
- his great-granddaughter Premier Dushenka Honey-Blossom won her third Premier certificate and title
- his nephew Pr Dushenka Blue Oberon won the reserve Grand, his first time in the class
Congratulations to our family connections too - Laura's lovely black girl, Rafa's granddaughter, Champion Lapochka Black Velvet-Rose won her title (the first-ever Russian Black bred in Scotland with a show title!) and Best of Breed, and Laura's boys Rocky and Charlie (Rafa's great-grandsons) had another great day with Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar winning Best of Breed this time and Lapochka Cerulean-Charleston gracefully ceding 1st place to his brother; and Margaret's boy Premier Makima Water Sapphire (Rafa's great-nephew) who won his qualifying Premier certificate.

25 March 2023 - Preston & Blackpool CC show

I wasn't showing today, but am very happy to congratulate:
- Premier Dushenka Blue Oberon who won his qualifying Premier certificate and 1st in both his side classes

Congratulations to our family connections too - Laura's lovely black girl Lapochka Black Velvet-Rose won her second Challenge certificate and Best of Breed, and Laura's boys Rocky and Charlie, had another great day with Lapochka Cerulean-Charleston winning Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Kitten and Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar gracefully ceding 1st place to his brother again.

4 March 2023 - Erin/Northern Ireland Cat Club shows

We had such a fun weekend in Northern Ireland, having packed up five cats and a copious supply of snacks and champagne to stay in a lovely cottage with a hot tub to enjoy on Saturday night. It was definitely a weekend to celebrate, with some lovely results:
- UK & OS IGr Ch Dushenka Rafael won the Olympian certificate in both shows, and Best of Breed in one, plus Best of Variety Section 4 Adult in the Erin show
- his grandson Champion Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka won the Challenge certificate in both shows, Best of Breed in one show and his title
and Rafa's Lapochka descendents
- his granddaugher, Laura's lovely black girl Lapochka Black Velvet-Rose won her first Challenge certificate and Best of Breed
- his great-grandsons, Laura's boys Rocky and Charlie, made their show debut at just over 14 weeks old with Lapochka Cerulean-Charleston winning Best of Breed in both shows and Lapochka Cerulean-Rockstar gracefully ceding 1st place to his brother - this time anyway!

Thank you again Laura for finding us such a lovely place to stay, and doing all the driving, and to everyone at the show who were so complimentary about our cats x

4 February 2023 - Shropshire show

Our first show of the year, and some great results too!
- Imperial Grand Premier Dushenka Zelenka won her fifth imperial certificate and her new title, clever girl Zizi!
- her dad UK & OS IGr Ch Dushenka Rafael won the reserve Olympian in a very strong class, and 1st in both his side classes
- her nephew Dushenka Oskar Kokoschka won his second Challenge Certificate, Best of Breed and 1st in both his side classes
- her niece, Laura's lovely black girl Lapochka Black Velvet-Rose won Best of Breed and 1st in all her classes too

Thank you again Laura for organising us all, and to her, Amara and Caryl for bringing along their lovely cats too :)
