7 March 2020 - Northern Ireland Cat Club show

It's been a long time since we've been over to a show in Northern Ireland, and this trip was just as much fun as previous ones! There were seven Dushenkas along for the ride, with all seven enjoying good days!

- Grand MasterCat Mac won his qualifying Grand certificate and Best in Colour.

- Dushenka Delukiel
won Best of Breed and 1st in his side classes - a 'red card' day
. And his sister...
-
Dushenka Daisy-Belle, won her breed class plus another 1st in her side classes too!

Many thanks to Laura for bringing along her two cats, and making it such a fun trip for all of us.

Postscript: As it turned out this was to be our last show for quite some time, as the whole country went into lockdown because of COVID-19. The happy memories of that day will need to see us through until it is safe for shows to run again.

8 February 2020 - Croydon/Southern Counties shows

Today I took along
Rafa and Viola again, plus two of Viola's grandchildren, Luke and Daisy, for another fun day. It wasn't really Rafa's day today, but his descendents all did us proud:
- Dushenka Delukiel on his show debut won Best of Breed in both shows, and Best of Variety Section 4 kitten in one show - at just over 14 weeks old!
His sister
- Dushenka Daisy-Belle, won both her breed classes, plus another two 1sts in good side classes
- Gr Ch Dushenka
Viola Heartsease won the reserve Imperial certificate in both shows, and Best of Breed in one - in a really strong line-up of adults.

We had a lovely day, and again were delighted to cheer on the other Russian Blues there, with special congratulations going to Anne's Tatiana who was made up to Grand Champion - love that girl, wish she were mine!

26 January 2020 - LH, SLH & All Breed Cat Club show

Our first show of the year, and in a break with tradition, this was on a Sunday
, rather than a Saturday, which actually made getting home easier as the last train north is later on a Sunday. I just took two cats with me, Rafa and his daughter Viola, who both had a great day:
- UK & IGrCh Dushenka Rafael won the reserve Olympian, Best of Breed and Best of Variety Section 4 Adult

- Gr Ch Dushenka
Viola Heartsease won her third Imperial certificate

We had a lovely day, and were delighted to cheer on the other Russian Blues there, including Anne's Tatiana who won her first Grand certificate; and Laurie's Lottie - thrilled to see this gorgeous girl in a Best in Show pen!
