Oskar's story

Oskar is the son of my handsome boy Theo by my 'little perfection' Viola, and is as adorable as you would expect from such lovely parents. However, as you might guess from his nicknames, he does have his mischievous side, and is a source of endless amusement! He is named for the Viennese Expressionist artist, poet and playwright Oskar Kokoschka CBE, who is known for his intense and energetic works, and is clearly determined to live up to his name :)

He is another case of planning gone rather awry as he was meant to be a girl!!  But as with his father before him, pretty much from the moment he was born I knew he wasn't going anywhere. As well as being a cheeky scamp, he is also just the sweetest and most affectionate boy, all velvet paws and snoogly kisses, and life would be whole lot duller without him.

Also like his dad Theo, Oskar had a mixed show career as a kitten, starting strong with four consecutive of Best of Breed wins, and finishing by winning Best Male Kitten at the RBBA show, and Best of Breed at the Supreme Show.  He has done really well as an adult too, amassing two Olympians and five reserve Olympians whilst still a young adult. I very much hope he will have kittens in due course, and that his babies are as loving and lively as he is x
